Daisy is a Lab-Staffy mix, and I adopted her from the Sarasota Humane Society when she was just six months old. From the moment I brought her home, she’s been more than just a pet—she’s been my family, my companion, and my emotional anchor through some of life’s toughest moments. But the truth is, it’s her who’s given me the comfort and strength to keep going.

Daisy is my sweet rescue from the Sarasota Humane Society. She’s a healthy, loving Labrador-Staffordshire mix, but she’s very behind on routine vet care like vaccines and checkups due to severe financial hardship. I’m raising funds to get her caught up and ensure she stays healthy. She’ll be seen at Burns Court Veterinary.

Daisy is the heart of our home—loyal, gentle, and full of love. She greets everyone with a wagging tail and brings comfort with her calm, sweet nature. She loves cuddles, follows me everywhere, and senses when someone needs a little extra love. She also is a cardiac alert dog and tells me when my heart rate is dangerously high and provides deep pressure therapy for me, which I am forever grateful.

I’m on SSI, disabled, and currently receiving infusions at Florida Cancer Specialists. Finances are tight, and I’m doing my best to care for Daisy, b ut I need help. Having her healthy and up to date on care would ease my stress and mean the world to us both.
