About this campaign
We rescued Daisy 3 years ago. She was in an abusive home her first year of life. Since we rescued her and given her all of our love she has transformed from a scared shaking puppy into this sweet outgoing playful pup. We rescued her big brother two years ago, and the two have become inseparable, relating and healing from their trauma together.
Daisy was the runt of her liter. The vet said that because she was the runt, when she was born her legs were not correctly developed and thus have led to her tearing her ACL. She can no longer run, jump or play, which on top of her torn ACL, she has been very down. The name of the animal hospital is Peninsula Animal Hospital and Orthopedics.
Daisy loves to snuggle. Anytime we cover up with a blanket she jumps right in for snuggles. I would say that’s her favorite thing to do….and ours too. Besides her mom and dad, she loves spending time with her grandma’s.
April of this year our basement flooded and insurance did not help with any repairs/damages, so we had to drain all of our resources to pay for that. A month later Daisy tore her ACL, and now we are unable to pay for her surgery.
