Daisy is a 1-year-old Pitbull Dog in Stephens City , VA, who needs $2,000 for Right lower mandible surgery.

At the beginning of 2021 an old family friend informed me she was expecting a litter of pitbull puppies in a few weeks. My fiancé and I had just had our daughter 6 months before this and were eager to expand our family. So about 6 weeks after February 18th we brought home a fawn brindled puppy with a white sock and named her Daisy.

She slept on our bed every night (which helped with house training) and went every day with my fiancé to the garage where he works. Every evening home with us was filled with excitement as Daisy grew bigger alongside our daughter. Stealing each other’s toys, sharing food, everyday brought another chance to learn and grow.

Daisy loves car rides and going anywhere with her family. Other hobbies include: fetching sticks, learning new commands, waiting for the baby to drop food on the floor, taking walks, waiting for dog treats from delivery people dropping off parts at the shop, and she also enjoys taking up most of the bed every night.

Daisy ran off April 25th, was struck by a car, and wandered for 2 nights. With help from family and community, I finally found her huddled under bushes near a church the morning of the 28th. I rushed her to Valley Veterinary ER who diagnosed her with a broken jaw. The next morning she received surgery from Dr Villatora at VSC Leesburg. She will need follow up care to continue the healing process.

At this time, my fiancé is away and unable to help. I’ve dipped into our savings to make sure Daisy got the immediate care she needed. Our daughter loves this dog. Daisy has only begun to live her life and we want her to be part of ours for a long time. Please help!
