Dak, my 10-year-old Shih Tzu, is the heart of our family. He’s loving, playful, and always by our side, bringing comfort and happiness into our lives every single day. Dak is suffering from a perineal hernia that is causing him severe discomfort and making it very difficult for him to use the bathroom. He strains and is clearly in pain, which is heartbreaking to watch. Without urgent surgery, his condition can worsen and become life-threatening.
