Dakota is a 4 year old Blackmouth Cur in Auburn, ME, who needs $500 for Internal Injuries, Vaccines, and Exam.

I adopted Dakota March 2, 2021 after he was transported from Oklahoma. Dakota is a loveable dog. He has been by my side through my cancer surgery and everything. I am a victim of domestic violence and he was injured during the relationship.

Dakota was injured by my soon to be ex husband. Dakota got tired of being abused every time I tried to call for help he took my phone. All I could do is yell to try and get him to stop laying his 200 lbs of body weight on him and punching him in the skull. Had I hit him back I would have gone to jail for assault. I fell behind on his vaccines because of the abuse.

Dakota has another friend (sort of) sibling rivalry. They argue over the same bone even though there is 2 bones. They play, lay to together, sleep together, run together. Dakota did bite my soon to be ex huband because he got tired of being beat on. Bit him on the nose and I told him that was a warning bite. He did injure Sophie as well (other dog). Hes been having seizures.

I am a victim of domestic violence, homeless, filing divorce, have a restraining order against my soon to be ex-husband. I had to quit my job to address the entire mess of abuse. Making sure Dakota doesn't have internal injuries would be appreciated. Looks like he might.
