Dakota is a 1-month-old Domestic Feline in Corona , CA, who needs $1,800 for Blood Transfusion.

My husband found her at his jobs site. He said she is the most prettiest cat he has ever seen. We named her Dakota because her coat reminds us of the snow in South Dakota. Dakota has been with us for 5 days. She enjoys sitting on my shoulder laying next to my neck. Her second favorite spot is on my chest.

As of right now Dakota sleeps in a crate due to her age and state of health. We have two labradors who just love her. Dakota doesn't seem to mind thier wet noses. Both my daughter's help me with the care of her. My oldest daughter keeps a log of the feedings . And my littlest one holds her to keep her warm.

Just from the small amount of time we have been with Dakota we notice she is a strong kitten. She had so many fleas on her but still has the attitude to survive. My daughter feel the best song to describe her is by Sia called Unstoppable. We always play that song while feeding her. She makes me smile when she looks at me like im the only thing in this world.

Due to the mass amount of fleas that she had encountered from being on the street, it caused her to lose a lot of blood. Which is why she needs a Blood Transfusion. I didn't expect her to need a blood transfusion. She also got a bacterial infection from the fleas which created ulcers on her tongue. This make feedings more difficult.

This was unexpected news, we didn't think she was this sick to need a blood transfusion. My husband and I cannot afford it right now due to the medical bills of our elderly dog in which we had recently inquired.
