Dakota LOVED duck hunting with daddy. Dakota is a highly trained duck retrieval dog. Daddy died on March 29, 2021. Then our family cat unexpectedly died from “saddle thrombosis” at only 7 years old, 2 days before Christmas. Dakota never left my side. Dakota will have a grade III/high grade mast cell tumor excised from the right ventral lateral thorax with 8-10mm margins. rec is vinblastine, after the first 4 weekly treatments, get another spleen cytology sample. If she is in a cytologic remission, we continue. If cytology still questionable, rec splenectomy or switching care plan to palladia or CCNU
