Dale is a 14-year-old Tiger cat in Amsterdam, NY, who needs $1,500 for Thyroid/ultrasound.

Our boy Dale came into our lives in 2005, my sister, who passed in Oct 2019 from breast cancer, loved this cat(he was her cat). Dale had eye surgery in 2015, and has been good since. Recently we noticed he was bloating, after a Dr appointment Sat, labs, we learned he has a thyroid condition that is putting pressure on his heart. Ultrasound revealed cancer.

Dale is the sweetest boy, he is a lover for sure. He will come up lay on you and start kneeding. He also loves to give kisses, and nudge you with his head when he wants your attention. He gets along with our other cats, he loves our oldest girls (19 and 20) and loves to give them kisses. He is so good with the kids too, he is the most humble cat.

Right now I'm out of work due to issues after shoulder surgery and now have to have another surgery next week. My Mom is on SSD so we are on a tight budget, and we know taking care of Dale is important.

Dale was on steroids previously due to his eye condition, he recently started to swell up in the belly. We took him to the vet and were told it didn't look good. When they called today for his results we learned it was a thyroid issue that was putting pressure in his heart thay was causing the swelling of fluid. We have an ultrasound scheduled and hoping to start a med regiment.

Dale loves our other pets in the house, he will clean his sisters and brothers, and his humans too!! He is just so chilled for a cat, he loves to just love on anyone, human and furries. Even at the vets office they can't believe how chill he is, he will get a shot and he just kneeds, he is the most humble cat you could meet!
