Innocent Dog Suffers For Far Too Long In Isolation And Misery.
Imagine being tethered to a post by a heavy logging chain with no food or water in sight. Your bones are prominent, your stomach shrunk, and wounds dig deep into your neck from the same chains that keep you trapped.
This was the heartbreaking reality for Dale, who was recently uncovered by a deputy investigating animal neglect.
He had been tethered to a post and had no access to food or water, even though the weather was scorching hot. The damage to his body did not occur overnight; Dale has suffered for far too long in isolation and misery.
He was seized from this deplorable, neglectful situation, and the owner has been cited with animal cruelty and neglect.
Thankfully, One by One Animal Advocates is stepping up to provide Dale with the medical care he needs. He will require blood work to check if his organs have suffered damage due to malnourishment, diagnostic tests to look for heartworms or tick-borne diseases, sedation to examine and treat his severe neck wounds, and antibiotics and pain medication.
Dale will also needs to be sedation to examine and treat his severe
"This case is incredibly sad and should never have happened, but we are thankful a concerned citizen spoke up and the authorities responded and acted on the travesty they witnessed," One by One Animal Advocates tells their supporters. "Now it is our turn to take over his medical care to try to reverse the wrong he has endured."
Any amount you can donate will provide him with the necessary treatment, nutrition, and love he deserves. Together, we can give him a second chance at a life filled with happiness and health!
