About this campaign

My husband found this little one hit on the side of the road - she tried walking into the road and he saw he and stopped and realized she was injured and traumatized… we ran her to the nearest 24 hr vet and they said she may have a broken hip or leg, the tail and rectum have been partially degloved. :(. Their original estimate put her surgery with them over 6k!

We chose to find a more affordable option and found Indy Animal Surgery Center in Zionsville. Dr Ball confirmed Dani will need appx $1000 for surgery for the tail to be amputated. This doesn't include the aftercare, as also confirmed Dani has a broken pelvis and hip bone! She will need additional monitoring and care for 4-6 weeks.

This isn’t our kitty but we are willing to keep her but need the help for the surgery asap! As soon as we can raise funds little one will be fixed and hopefully healed… barring no head trauma.

She will be having surgery at Indy Animal Surgery Center, and recovery daily care at Noah's Caring Hands Animal Hospital. Additional recovery and daily care estimates about $600!

Since she is a tortie I am sure she will have the most amazing personality as she will be loved forever! She will have other kitty friends at home and a warm bed!!!

Please continue to help and/or share this if you can! We appreciate each and every one of you who has donated thus far. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! She is one tough and lucky kitty!

I used to foster so most of my funds are limited as I am still paying off bills from other kitties. I do not have means but I do have time and love to help heal and give her the love and new lease she deserves!!
