Daniel Tiger came into our lives one evening when he showed up on our front door to join our other rescued cat for dinner. He was so skinny, but was so extremely loving, my children, husband, and I instantly bonded to him. We looked around the past 2 months trying to see if he had owners while we cared for him, but none came forward and he had no microchip. Our unsocial indoor cat likes him too.

Recently Daniel Tiger came down with a respiratory virus sneezing/coughing, and had a goopy eye that quickly swelled up. None of the more affordable clinics nearby could see him soon enough, only our local vet Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital in Oakhurst, CA could. He was just seen today and had a foxtail and RSV, he’s on antibiotics & an ointment for his eye.

Daniel Tiger has chosen us as his family from the start. We have a son with autism, and another who is an animal lover, & Daniel Tiger has been so loving & sweet to them as well as my husband and I. He purrs constantly, expressing his gratefulness to us, & has been putting on some weight finally. He even loves our indoor cat Peter who is always nervous around others but seems to like Daniel Tiger
