About this campaign
We found Danny after trunk or treating with friends last year. It was National cat day and the anniversary of my grandpa leaving this world. We narrowly missed him in the road and luckily chased him down. He was barely weaned and all alone. We immediately fell in love with his sweet personality. I had always wanted a cat and my husband said only if one was on the side of the road. It was fate.
Danny is a special part of our family. He loves his kids and tolerates the dog. He is affectionate and a cuddle bug but also loves to patrol our property during the day. He is a friend to all, and very vocal.
Danny is a talker and knows how to melt my heart for treats and more food. He’s one of the most expressive cats I’ve ever met and makes me giggle. He has the patience of a saint and loves our kids so much. He plays with them and cuddles on their beds at night. He’s truly our fur baby.
Danny went to the animal hospital today after presenting under the weather and not being himself. He was howling in pain and we knew he needed help. It turned out to be a bladder/urinary blockage and he needs several procedures and diagnostics to find the cause and fix the issue. They are keeping him over night.
This was a major unexpected cost after Christmas a recent visit to Children’s hospital, and upcoming travel. Without everything, Danny’s condition is fatal. He’s a baby at 1 year old and has so much life to live with a family that adores him.
