About this campaign

Two years ago, Danny Boy should have died. After being hit by a car on Oʻahu’s North Shore, he was left injured in the sun for hours until an RKH volunteer found him clinging to life with a fractured jaw and a massive head wound. Against all odds, he survived.

Now, at 7 years old, this incredible boy is fighting for his life once again. Danny Boy has been diagnosed with FIP and severe, painful stomatitis. He recently stopped eating and drinking, causing his sodium levels to spike dangerously. He requires intensive ICU care at VCA Family Animal Hospital and slow rehydration on IV fluids to survive.

The good news? The treatment is working. And after a very recent recheck, his sodium levels are dropping, he is starting to eat on his own, his feeding tube is delivering vital nutrition, and he is finally purring again. Danny Boy hasn't given up, and neither can we.

Danny Boy's care requires immediate financial support. We still need to raise over $3,000 to cover his mounting ICU and FIP treatment bills.

Danny Boy spent years helping other rescues survive; now he needs us. Please consider making a donation today to give this miracle cat the chance he so deeply deserves. Every dollar goes directly to his lifesaving veterinary care.
