Darcy is a 2 year old Siamese in Baton Rouge, LA, who needs $2,000 for Hospitalization, Blood work, Labs, IV fluids, etc..

My cats Darcy and Bingley were rescues from my old upstairs neighbor. Her brother dropped them off with her and said if she didn’t take them, he was going to dump them. She had small children and no room for kittens, so I took them. I’ve had them for nearly two years now, we live in a new apartment, they’re both wonderful and I love them dearly. I’ve done my best to be the best cat mom I can be!

Three days ago, I noticed Darcy acting very lethargic. The next night, he woke up out of sleep, ran to the hallway, and threw up a lot of bile. Later that night, I noticed blood on my pillow from him. So, I brought him to Sherwood South Animal Hospital and they said his potassium levels were off the charts and he had Acute Kidney Injury. He’s been there for two nights now, Bingley and I miss him.

Darcy is truly a perfect cat. He’s so well-behaved (unlike his crazy brother haha). He is incredible and loves to play, but also loves to relax. He loves treats and keeping his brother in check. He’s a very good boy.

I got in a car accident a few years ago, but lost my health insurance. I was still living with my parents. When I got a job, I was finally able to start getting treatment for my constant pain, but it costs about $300/month. I also just had to get an alternator for my car.
