I adopted Daric from our local animal shelter 10 months ago. He was severely neglected, emaciated and abandoned. He had been in the hospital for 5 months before he could even be adopted due to such grave life threatening condition he was found in .

He has a condition in his eye caused by being so malnourished and emaciated . It's called entropion, which is an abnormality of the eye in which the eyelid rolls inward. This inward rolling often causes the hair on the surface of the eyelid to rub against the cornea, resulting in pain, corneal ulcers, perforations which can interfere with vision. He has had ongoing treatment for the past 10 months

It is an absolute blessing to see Daric thriving against all odds! He has several medical challenges he has already overcome. He's an amazing, smart and super loving boy!

Daric has received treatment at Banfield Vet Hospital since a week after I got him. His eye issue has gotten worse. I have exhausted all my funds on treatments. Daric needs this surgery as he's at risk of losing his eye now. Please help him get past this medical challenge.
