Darla is a 6-month-old English bulldog in Keller, TX, who needs $1,500 for Morgan Pocket Third Eyelid Surgery.

Hi everyone, Darla is our English bulldog she is 6 months old and at about 3 months old we noticed she developed a condition in her eye the vets call cherry eye. She lives in a household of 5 and also with another male bulldog named Bubba. She is playful, energetic, and loves to pounce on him. Loves to go for his ears.

Darla is very social she loves the kids in the family. She don't like her harness but loves to run around the yard loves to play and she will lick you to death. She loves to eat and relax next to you in the couch. She will sleep right next to you all night. She loves to nag her mate by pouncing on him or running at fast speed directly in his path...funny thing to witness. She's full of life.

Darla makes us laugh especially when she looks back at you from the side eye as if she is grinning. She knows when she is doing something bad , she sulks. Overall she's a happy puppy loves to chase and play till she can't run no more. She means so much to our family and the thought of her suffering just breaks our heart

About 3 months old she developed the cherry eye in her left eye and now just yesterday her right eye. Our veterinarian advised Darla will need eye surgery to help keep her eyelid producing tears and her eye lubricated. The inner eyelid produces 30% of her tears and lubrication.

Darla means a lot to our family and our home. She makes us laugh and she brings a whole other vibrant vibe to our lives. We just want her to be healthy and live a great life. Just looking at her face and her eyes makes us worried that she may be in pain, but she is so strong
