Darlene is a 8-year-old Corgi Mix in Fletcher, NC, who needs $1,500 for Mass Removal.

Darlene came into my life thru Foothills Pet Rescue. She was a funny little thing, well I say little but was shaped like bowling ball and funny, very vocal , bossy and like nothing I had seen before. Piercing blue eyes, short hair the color of a JRT, built like a Corgi stubby legs, long tail and long POINTY snout and ears. It was love at first sight! She slept in her bed next my dogs. VERY SMART

She's very affectionate. She has wiggle in her walk. Does not like the vacuum. Gets along famously with my cats and dogs. Barks at anyone strange on property. No one sneak up on me! Every AM I feel their eyes staring at me. So I give them meds, food, water, make potty, then it's the cats turn. I love them and they love me.

She likes to snuggle with me but always ends up sleeping with my Great Dane Mix, Rudy. She loves him. What's not to love, He's a handsome gentleman. She is quirky, funny, excitable. She loves to ride in the car. She loves bark at anyone to close my car. Like I said, she is the perfect guard dog and the best pet ever.

Darlene has breast cancer .She has a very large hard tumor on her mammary gland that has to be removed surgically before it ruptures. She wearing an e-collar so she cant get to this causing more distress . This surgery is being done hopefully as soon as possible.

I am a survivor of stage 4 metastatic brain cancer. I won't give up on Darlene. Her prognosis IS GOOD. Mine wasn't I was given 5-7 months. 3.5 years later am in remission. Am on SSDI. Just enough $ to pay bills food 4 dogs. Darlene WILL GET WELL WITH YOUR HELP.
