Delilah is a 5-year-old Border Collie in Kokomo, IN, who needs $200 for Check-Up and Seizure Medication.

Delilah was posted as “free to a good home” at 4 months old. I was her 3rd owner, but am her furever home. She’s been with me for over 5 years, and it’s just me and her.

When I was finally able to do so, I relocated us to a house with a backyard. While it’s just the two of us, I work from home so we have a daily routine. She loves my nephew, niece, sister, and my aunt. And she loves to play with her friends at the dog park.

Delilah has a spark of intelligence in her eye that I am in awe of. She also has the most expressive face I’ve ever seen in a dog. She has a way about her that almost comes across as judgmental, and her favorite place to sleep is on the coffee table.

Delilah was diagnose with severe inflammatory bowel disease a year ago, and she is in a special brand of hydrolyzed protein dog food. On top of that, and food and environmental allergies, she recently started having seizures. In five months she’s gone from a playful dog to barely having any energy.

I am the only person in the house, and I live paycheck-to-paycheck. The vet bills are mounting and her food and medication is expensive. It’s hard to keep up on the costs as well as pay my own bills. But she’s my world, and I’ll do anything for her.
