Della is a 2 year old Russian Blue in Oakland Park , FL, who needs $1,800 for Hospitalization and Diagnostic Testing.

Della is our unexpected gift from the Cat Distribution System. We've been honored to watch her grow from a feral, dehydrated 5 week old kitten found crossing a major 6 lane road into a confident 2 year old lady. She is much loved member of our family and is bonded with our older cat Perry. We live in South Florida. Della is an indoor cat.

Della presented with repeated vomiting on 12/1. She has pica & ate a toy. She received an enema for obstication/partial obstruction, which left her system clear per second xray. She drinks/uses her box but is now refusing all efforts to feed her. She's been to the vet's three times, and we're at a loss as what's wrong. We'll will be going back to VCA in the a.m. for more tests & support.

Della never lost her high pitched baby voice, so we also call her Meemles. She's sweet & shy with a pinch of sassy & is devoted to her brother Perry. They love to snuggle and watch birds from their favorite chair by the window. She also loves watching classic TV, especially Perry Mason (and namesake Della Street) & Star Trek; we'll be gutted if we lose her to a Tribble (the pom pom of doom).

I have chronic illness and almost died in 2020. My subsequent medical bills left our savings and credit in shambles. We don't qualify for CareCredit. Her brother needs her; we need her. It's been a joy watching her grow into the cat she is today. Two years isn't enough.
