Dempsey is a 12-year-old Pit bull/Staffordshire in Union City, CA, who needs $1,725 for Holistic Hydrotherapy, Physiotherapy and Shock Wave Laser Treatment.

We rescued Dempsey 3 1/2 years ago after my sister had passed away and I couldn't be there to say goodbye to her due to immigration-related restrictions. When we rescued him he had arthritis and past trauma and wasn't able to play with the other dogs. But his eyes were full of love — they radiated beautiful energy that reminded us of those rare people we come across in life that take the hardship

We didn't socialize him too much as he was not too good around other dogs. He had other socialising issues . :-( At Xmas time our son bought over his female dog and Dempsey had the best time of his life. It was so beautiful to finally see him play with another dog. His the love of our lives. Right!!

We have a yoga studio, Everyone we bring into our studio cant get enough of him. They love him from the word go, want to pat and play with him. The conversations he starts reminds us whyb we fell in love. He seven stops people in the street constantly because of his eyes, his demeanor, and his very slow walk.

Apart from Arthritis, constant shaking or tremors is bothering all of us as to what is causing this. We just want to make sure that he is not in PAIN tnd that is causing them. The recommendation was to have Grove's Radiologist get CT scan done first then have Dempsey seen at a Neurologist We have now just decided to go down the holistic path as his 12yrs old

We between us are struggling financially, hard to pay for the holistic therapies like acupuncture, hydrotherapy etc We could contribute maybe a little We know Dempsey is fine mentally , still runs poos and eats. If we can fix these shakes and pain it will be better.
