Dexter has been a member of our family after he and his brother were rescued 8 years ago in January. Dexter lives with his two brothers, Hunter and Sniper. Dexter is a bright and loving little boy would absolutely loves being held around the house and meowing at his owners for pets and belly rubs. Dexter a bubbly and sweet cat who never hurts anyone, even on accident.

Dexter has recently lost several pounds. We took him to his veterinarian for a blood test and urine culture, but unfortunately after his results came back, the vet made it very clearly she was surprised he was still eating and walking around. We rushed him to VERG animal hospital, they indicated that he shows major signs of kidney disease. We are not waiting to hear what extent the disease is.

Unlike his name, Dexter is the most bubbly, loving, and sweetest cat you will ever meet. He runs around the house crying at his owners to be picked up and kissed. This is to the point we even have a special scarf so we can walk around with him tied to us. He is extremely connect to his twin brother, Sniper, and older brother, Hunter. They are always found cuddled together in a circle on my bed.

My husband and I both work in the DOE, he is a SPED teacher and I am a school social worker. This 7.2 k dollar vet bill that may go up to 11k is not something we were prepared for or ever expected but Dexter's life means everything to us.
