My husband gifted this sweet boy last year after I lost my Great Dane and decided I didn't want to ever have another dog. This sweet baby very quickly became the love of my life. Every moment is given to him. Our entire world changed. His personality lights up our lives and I couldn't imagine my life without him.

Yesterday afternoon my sweet Dexter stopped drinking water and refused food. He laid around all evening and began having liquid diarrhea that went from gel like substance to complete water. I rushed him to the Tristate animal ER after he did this a few more times where we were told he has pancreatitis and is severely dehydrated.

Dexter is a very lively boy who lives to play and run. He loves any toy that squeaks and often to get your attention he will squeak like his toy until you take it and throw it for him. We all look forward to coming home to him and enjoy what he brings to our hearts.

My husband has been laid off and I work full time but it's difficult to keep up with bills. He did finally go back to work but we are working hard to catch up now. His vet is asking over $600 for his overnight stay and we just afford to pay that all at once.
