Dexter is a 2 year old Mix-Breed in Moreno valley, CA, who needs $2,000 for X-rays and Urinary Blockage Surgery.

Dexter I got from my friends backyard I also got his best friend at the same time named Neville. Dexter was named by my daughter she looked up names for black cats and Dexter is what she picked. We also call him DexMex, lil piranha, and toothless.

I took Dexter in to see the vet because he was having issues peeing. My normal vet (Moreno Valley Animal Hospital) was booked so I went to another. The original cost was 860$ but I didn’t have that much so I couldn’t do the xrays. I did do fluids, urine analysis, and they gave him a shot of antibiotics. He has only peed that I’ve seen once in 24 hrs. So he will need to go back for more test etc

Dexter, we call my shadow. He’s always with me and always sleeps on my legs or sits on my legs. He loves to play and rough House with his best friend Neville who he call his brother they’ve been together their entire lives. He’s not big on new people, but loves my teenage daughter. He loves his little mice, and he has a little purple monster toy from Halloween that he carries around and will meow.

I just need help covering what it will cost to fix his issues whether it’s surgery or more medication. I’m on a limited income due to being in at home. Caregiver for my autistic daughter. I just really can’t lose my cat so anything would help.
