I have been with Diamond since she was born, though she wasn't originally mine. She belonged to a relative who got another dog that took up their attention. I already had Diamond's little sister Genevieve. Given that Diamond and Genevieve were the only 2 pups left of their mother's only litter that contained 14 pups, I chose to keep them together.

On December 16, 2025 I found out Diamond had a Mast Cell tumor and with information provided by her doctor at Carolina-Virginia Animal Hospital and research, I know this can be very serious. This hurts so much because Diamond is so loving and active and even though she's 9 years old, she has many, many more years of life ahead of her. She still hikes, wrestles and plays.

Diamond is special because she loves people and animals alike! It doesn't matter who you are, Diamond has a big wet kiss for you!! Diamond loves her humans , her little sister Genevieve and her 2 grand pups.

Due to losing my job and a myriad of health concerns, I'm unable to cover the needed surgery and follow up appointments that Diamonds doctor has recommended. It would mean the world to me to have my big girl Diamond treated before having to suffer any health affects.
