Diamond is a 12 year old Chihuahua in Fairfield, CT, who needs $1,200 for Dental Cleaning/Extractions.

I adopted Diamond from a family member the summer of 2012. She was about 6 months old & I had just lost my Yorkie Boy a few months before we took her in. She was timid & very sweet but also very vocal. From day one this girl put me to work! She taught me lots of patience & we've been through so much these last 12 years. I'm struggling to get the medical attention she needs because I lost my job.

In 2015 she had 1 single pup, we kept her & named her Gem. At the moment I'm trying to pay off a debt from taking Gem to the emergency room recently. But Diamond also needs a dental cleaning & may need some extractions because her breath is bad. She already had 10 teeth extracted at Value Pet Vet about 3 years ago. I recently noticed how she also may not see well due to a cataract.

Diamond is what I like to call sweet & spicy! She loves to cuddle with people but is not too fond of hyper kids. She has a love/hate relationship with my son because he used to be hyper when he was younger but now he's 18 and she still barks at him sometimes even though he's not like that anymore. LOL And don't try to kiss mom while she's on her lap cuz she'll growl at you!

I was laid off from my job back in 2022 & it's been hard to find a job since. I decided to switch careers and learn something new. I'm in training to be a school bus driver but the pay isn't much. I would be so grateful to see her comfortable during her senior years.
