About this campaign
Diamond came into our lives when she was only 6 weeks old. She was wondering around my husband's work building, so when he saw her he got a box got a blanket out of our car and she stayed with him till he got off. When I woke up that morning I went into the living room and saw him sleeping on the couch, I had to take a double look and I saw that tiny cute innocent puppy sleeping on his chest!!
The kids named her diamond and she instantly fit our family. She was so little we had to feed her from a bottle. We believe our animals should be treated with nothing but love so she sleeps in all of our beds or on the couch! When the boys would go outside she would stand infront of the stairs so they couldn't go down without us! She is the most easy going, loving dog.
A few years ago we adopted a small dog who we named Lady. We were not sure how it would go but they took to each other like they new each other, they're best friends! Diamond loves snow! She loves to run in open fields, and she loves her toys! She is so amazing with kids, we had a baby in 2019 and I wasn't sure how she would do, but she was great with the baby just like she was with the kids.
Diamond has always been healthy until 6 months ago we noticed what looked like a skin tag? It got a little bigger within 3 months, but then a month ago it was noticeably bigger and 2 weeks ago it was as big as my hand. The vet said its a tumor and needs to be removed and checked for cancer. He said to plan for a $5,000 vet bill.
Due to covid19 I lost my job and can not afford to have our girls surgery at this time. Diamond is just like our child, and she is suffering and its killing us. I have applied for care credit and got denied. I have tried charities here in our city and no luck.
