Diamond was a gift and has been our family’s greatest blessing for the past 16 years. She isn’t just our dog...she is our family, our comfort during difficult times and the sweetest, most gentle soul we’ve ever known.

Diamond is now suffering from a critical, deeply painful mouth infection causing foul breath, fluid, and blood to leak from her mouth. She desperately needs emergency dental surgery and an abscess drain to remove the source of the infection and stop the bleeding. Because kidney disease weakens her body and makes anesthesia much more complex, her surgery requires extra care, specialized IV fluids,

Diamond is just so full of life. She absolutely loves to be around her family, and her favorite thing in the world is to play ball. Even right now, with all her pain, she still tries to play—but unfortunately, because of the severe infection and bleeding, she physically cannot hold the ball in her mouth anymore. It breaks my heart to see her look at her favorite toy and not be able to enjoy it.
