About this campaign

I had the pleasure of finding diesel about a year and a half ago. He was a stray, who was microchipped and had owners, but they no longer wanted him & dumped him. I found this sweet baby and took him in, and he has been “mine” since.
About the last 6 months or so, a mass started to form on his back right leg. It is now the size of a football, and seems to be a bother now more than ever to him.

Diesel is a very big goofy boy. He loves big bones, to play with his tiny 10 pound chihuahua sister, and walks. He especially loves to roll around in the grass on his walks. He is very protective over his family. He is his moms best friend, and we are desperate to help him.

Diesel is a BIG man, but a HUGE baby. He is afraid of thunderstorms and hates yelling, he will hide from you! He plays with his cat siblings and it couldn’t be funnier seeing his huge self playing with the tiny kittens.

I am hoping to find a veterinarian who can provide a low cost surgery. I am pretty positive he needs his leg completely amputated. With that being said, we are not sure what said mass is. Weather it’s cancer or not, or what exactly is going on. Diesel has a vet appointment for a checkup to see exactly what’s going on scheduled for January 18th 2024 at TAHO vet. We are hoping for good news.

A recent move, and job loss of my boyfriend has made money and financially things very rough. We are currently on a very tight budget, struggling to make ends meet. We have put off his leg for too long, and I can’t stand the thought of him in pain any longer.
