Diesel was saved from an abusive owner when he was 6 weeks old by my boyfriend. My boyfriend was shot and killed in front of me 6 weeks later and I truly believe that Destiny brought Diesel into my life, because without him, I don't know what would have happened during that time. I probably wouldn't be here today. The grief and trauma was horrifying but I had to get up every day to feed Diesel.

Diesel is an emotional support animal, and is not a dog in my household. He doesn't like to be called that. He knows english and prefers to be called a "real boy". He still can't go into many stores, though, because he can't sit still for more than 2 minutes. He knows english and demands to be the center of attention.

Diesel is my heart and soul. I love him like my own child and then some. He comes first in my life. He saved my life when my boyfriend lost his and we have been soul mates ever since. It hurts my heart so much to see him not be able to run and jump and play.

He is the mighty squirrel hunter and tries to jump to them on the telephone lines (he believes he will eventually reach them) and tore his ACL, I believe, in the process. When I started having to lift him onto the bed, I took him to see our local vet, who took x-rays and determined he has a torn ACL and needs surgery.

Diesel is 100 percent human, I swear. Some say he is the spirit of my ex that was killed, and sometimes I wonder. He has a rock obsession that is so out of control, we have a "rock wall" outside full of confiscated rocks. He barely has any teeth left from attacking rocks. So far, the rocks have won.
