Diesel was adopted by us in January 2024 from a family friend member. He lives with our family of 3, myself (mom) and two boys Killian and Cayden. Cayden has special needs and the two of them get along so well and give each other unconditional love.

Diesel has been such a joy to our family. He goes everywhere with us, loves playing ball, car rides, and walks around the neighborhood. He is so smart and has been learning his commands of sit, stay, come, laydown, and shake. Everyone loves him so much.

Diesel is so loving and loyal, he flows his mom everywhere she goes. He gets so excited when he sees me get his leash and heads to the door for his walks. At bed time he sleeps with me and cuddles.

This was very unexpected and since he's newly adopted his pet insurance has a wait period for accidents and illness that doesn't start until 3/27/2024. My little guy was just being a puppy and jumping then a heart-wrenching cry of agony shattering my heart. Witnessing the extend of his pain was utterly disbelief. He broke his growth plate at the knee.

There is a tendon that connects the patella to the tibia and surgery placing a pin in the growth plate is his only option for normal development. I'm a single mother working two jobs and the cost of living has increased so much since 2020 that I don't have funds for surgery
