Diesel is a 8-year-old Pitbull in Porter, TX, who needs $1,850 for ACL Repair.

Diesel came into my life almost 8 years ago. As a kid, I had always wanted a pit bull to fight the stereotypes of the breed and to show that they are amazing pets. My parents got him for me on Christmas Eve 2015 and we have been inseparable since.

Diesel loves everyone he meets, including all of the fosters I have helped throughout the years. He enjoys napping and spending time outside. He is a “social butterfly” as I like to call him.

Diesel has “the stare”. Anytime he wants attention, he will stare at you and mumble under his breath until you look at him… it’s hilarious! He also drools uncontrollably anytime he’s around pizza.

Earlier this year, Diesel had been experiencing leg pain. The doctor evaluated him and thought it could be a partially torn ACL. Last month I got X-RAYS done and it confirmed that he not only fully tore his left ACL, but he also tore his right ACL and meniscus. He is scheduled for surgery Tuesday to repair the right leg.

Being with me for about 8 years, it hurts to see Diesel in pain. I am a college student working part time to provide low cost vaccinations to pets on the weekends. Trying to make ends meet for just myself is hard but trying to make Diesel comfortable almost seems impossible
