I've had Diesel since he was 4 weeks old. I bottle fed him even! He has been the best dog I could ever have asked for. It's just him and I and he needs to see a vet really bad. Please help us!

I don't know exactly what is wrong with him. I took him to the vet and paid $400 for them to give me a quote for another 1400.00 just to find out what is wrong. Then treatment and stuff is even more and I can't afford any of it. He is suffering severely. We live in an upstairs apt and I have to carry him up and down the stairs. His back legs are swollen and he has a horrible time breathing anymore

Just to see him not in pain and able to walk normal and bark again would make me so happy. He used to be so full of life and was such a funny man... He is more human than I've ever known another dog to be... Please help save my best friend. please
