We got diesel as a puppy about 2 years ago. He was the last of a litter and no one wanted him because he had a cherry eye and a hernia. He immediately stole our hearts and we had to provide him a good home. We immediately brought him home and he earned his name because he runs like a diesel. Full of love and energy. The perfect addition to our family.

Diesel was diagnosed with a luxating patella as a puppy in his right knee. We were told to monitor it and we would have it checked anytime he went in for an appointment. One day he took off running on slid on a hardwood floor into a wall sideways. That’s what sent him into the ER. He was then diagnosed with both legs having this condition and at a level 3-4. Which requires corrective surgery.

Diesel is the most well mannered, loving dog I’ve ever had. He loves everyone and is very affectionate. All he wants to do is snuggle and play. His amazing demeanor makes him the perfect companion for us. His obedience and trust in anyone will melt your heart the moment you look into his eyes. Diesel can tell if you aren’t feeling well and snuggle with you to make you feel better. A genuine lover

We are very limited for cash due to health conditions, and being a 1 income family. Diesel needs surgery on both knees to correct his luxating patellas to the tune of about $15,000 for both. We are doing everything we can to get money for his surgery.
