Dilly is a 8-year-old PitBull in Kearney, NE, who needs $2,000 for surgery.

I was lucky enough to adopt Dilly about 5 years ago. He was in and out of the shelter several times, and when I went to find a dog, I knew he was mine as soon as I saw him. He's sweet, goofy, and loving. We live in a 2 bedroom apartment with a yard that Dilly likes to scope out for the perfect place to potty, but his favorite spot is on the couch or the end of the bed.

Dilly is my buddy, my baby, and my family. He loves to cuddle me and his dad and his sister. She bugs him, but he secretly loves it. He's a couch potato that loves snacks, walks, and pets, especially belly rubs. He is the most loving dog you'll ever meet. He loves everyone, but he's definitely mama's boy.

Dilly makes me laugh when he talks or grunts. He's got a huge, loving personality and you can often find him lying on his back, happy as can be. He will sit on anyone and everyone's feet to make sure they know he's there and ready to be loved on. He will make you feel special and loved because he is always so happy to see you, no matter who you are.

Dilly had X-rays today because his leg has been bothering him, and it came back that he has some mild arthritis, which is not surprising at his age. Unfortunately, his ACL is also torn and will need to be surgically repaired. The surgery they will do at Hilltop Pet Clinic will repair the ACL and put the joint in better alignment so that it does not happen again.

The surgery to repair Dilly's ACL is estimated to cost $3,000. Unfortunately, I do not have a way to get that kind of money on my own, so I am asking for help. Once he is better, he will be able to run around the yard with his sister again and go on his beloved walks.
