About this campaign

I adopted Diva from the Roslyn SPCA around 2015. She is about 13 years old now and is a beautiful Russian Blue. I went to SPCA 3 months after I had to let my little 9 year old dog Troubles go to heaven. He was blind and in renal failure. I was broken hearted and vowed not to get another pet because it hurt so bad. Diva change my heart!

Diva is affectionate and truly a Diva. She came into my life at the right time. She has help me to heal my heart twice. After my dog Troubles and then my Mom past away 7 months later unexpectedly. Diva did not leave my side for 3 months. She motivated me to get up each day out of the bed. She would fuss until I moved. She saved me from depression!

I was out of work for 3 months and just returned last week. I've drained my resources & paid out $600 to the vet. Diva was there when I need her and now she needs me. I need to do all I can to save her life. She has saved my life in many ways.

Diva had lost a significant amount of weight. She is barely eats or drink & has diarrhea. My vet was unable to help her due to COVID-19. I was instructed to take her to Hickory Veterinary Hospital & was treated by Dr. Joanna Cronquist. Diva needs an Ultrasound of the abdomen and to be hospitalized to determine if she had cancer or a parasite.

Diva had a habit of being very quiet and she was a big cat. I would not know that Diva was in my room at times. I would roll over and bam she's starring me right in my face. Diva always scared me and made me jump. I think she got a kick out of that. I would always laugh after I finish screaming from being scarred. She would get me every time.
