Dixie is a 5 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Alton , IL, who needs $1,400 for Removal of Mammary Tumors and Biopsy.

Dixie was given to me from a dear friend. She was almost a year old and fit right in with us. I was dog sitting at the time and Dixie just mothered every single dog that came into the house she's been the best. Her and my shih Tzu sugar became the best of friends they love each other until we lost our Sugar. But they have five great years together.

I noticed some lumps on one of Dixie's utters back in August I got a little sidetracked in Sept. when we lost sugar when I was back to trying to figure out what to do with Dixie in October. I went to Daniel Randall veterinarian in Guthrie Illinois. Dixie was diagnosed with Mammory Gland Tumors. Our vet advised there's a 50-50 chance of cancer but Dixie is only 5 years & deserves a chance

I suffer from depression and social anxiety and Dixie is my emotional support. She's a very very sweet loving little girl. She gets along with people and animals alike. She is very attentive to our surroundings and make sure that I am aware of any negativity. I rely on her like she realize of me. We are a team.
