Dixie is a 11-year-old Hound in Eustis, FL, who needs $2,000 for Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy.

My Dixie was a Foster dog which We adopted @ 7months old. We have property in which she love's to Run & Play & have her buddy's (doggy friends) come over to play with her

Dixie sleeps in either bed in the house or couch, which she prefers over her own. She love's to go for walks & rides. We go for rides daily, to the store or Petsmart to get her treats & visit.

Dixie has a neighbor doggy friend that comes over everyday to play & stay, whether I'm home or at work. She likes the squeeky toys. She very expressive when it comes to treats, as she shakes her head & starts barking, then to a howl, like the hound dog in her. She's even cries out when I get home in a happy way, she's a Talker for sure.

Dixie has suffered a left cranial cruciate ligament injury, which the Vet Specialist will do a stabilization of the left stifle with a tibial leveling osteotomy. The Vet is AVS/Allied Veterinary Specialist and Dr. Mackenzie will perform the Surgery. I've met the staff & they are always there when I have any questions or concerns.

I have lost my husband 2 & 1/2 years ago & it has been a struggle. I only work part time & am needing some support to help get My Dixie healthy again. She is my support & most loving companion. Dr. Mackenzie says this will improve her life.
