About this campaign

My dog DJ was saved by me 11 yrs ago. He has been our family companion throughout the years. Our bundle of joy got his name from the way he would field ground balls and majestically catch pop ups like the superstar "Derek Jeter" of The New York Yankees. Due to the fact he now has cataracts he is basically blind. I have helped him to manage and adapt to his vision lost. Right now he misses playing catch with my wife and I. This week we are taking him to The Ohio State Vet Medical Center at Dublin. DJ is the joy of our lives and he is aware of this. I have put together half of the costs for his eye operation without any hesitation. Many people think I am crazy spending the money on him. In my opinion DJ did not ask for diabetes that lead to cataracts. Everyone has a "superstar" in their life and this little guy is mine. Therefore, with outside support from all that donate for the costs of this operation DJ will be able to field those ground balls and pop ups this Spring. To all of you that love Americas favorite past time "Lets play ball" and help me hit a homerun with your support.
