DJ is a 5 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Quinlan, TX, who needs $937 for Heartworm Treatment.

So DJ came to me and Paul a few weeks ago and we adopted him. My Aunt Vanessa who was his owner passed away last month. Dj is heartworm positive. The treatment cost around $900. Me and my husband Paul are just coming into our first home together and first time paying bills. This is our first time supporting anything together. I'm not sure if we are the ideal parents for DJ but I know we love him.

Dj was going to a vet in wills point. In September of last year they diagnosed him heartworm positive. A friend of his owner was taking DJ to his treatments for heartworms but due to Vanessa passing away we are unsure of who the person is. He received 2 of his doses. Dj was also injured by a car at a younger age and crushed his pelvis bones. He wasn't supposed to walk again. Vanessa helped him.

Dj has the funniest personality ever, Especially when he wants his way. He smiles and loves chest rubs. He wants to be active and outside playing all the time. He plays like he is sleeping, it's the funniest thing.

Due to us just receiving DJ, we wasn't prepared for this. We lost a loved one and don't want to lose him too. . He is special to us and loves hard. He has been extremely depressed due to his owner passing away. Anything would help. Thanks you
