Django is a 2 year old Australian Cattle Dog in Floyd, VA, who needs $800 for Emergency Wound Treatment.

Django came into our life as a rescue, when he was 6 months old. He had been neglected and abused. He took to our family immediately, and is the most loyal boy. He has such a comical side, and he is very intelligent. We have 4 children, and he is so gentle and loving with them. He is great with our cats and chickens too. We love him so much.

Django came back inside this evening, and he has a very large laceration on the front of his shoulder, that goes down the center of his chest. It is about 6 inches long or more and 3 inches wide. He is in a lot of pain. We found blood in the snow next to the fence. We think he was running and playing, and he slid on the ice nto the fence. We arent sure thats what happened, but its the only thing

He is wonderful with our 4 kids. Our son is autistic, and Django is amazing with him. He has helped our son with social skills in ways that we have not been able to. Django is a great dog and a treasured member of our family.

We live on a very tight income. My husband is disabled and his disability check is our only source of income. Im a stay at home mom, because he is unable to do much physically and needs help.
