Dobby is a 8-year-old Italian Greyhound in South Windsir, CT, who needs $2,000 for Ultrasound.

Dobby came into my life in 2016 - a rescue from a hording situation where he was abused and neglected. He arrived extremely thin, with a broken leg, and dog bites on his back. He had never been outside, and was terrified of me and my other Italian Greyhound, Oliver. Over time - and with kindness and patience - he grew to love Oliver and me and turned into the silliest, happiest, little boy!

Although Dobby is only 7 lbs, he is the alpha dog - sweetly bossing my other Italian Greyhound, Micah (15 lbs) around. When they lay together in their dog bed, Dobby loves to encourage Micah to kiss his head. He also loves to lay in front of the fireplace, dance around the kitchen when it's dinner time, and bark at squirrels that trespass in our yard.

Dobby is the best hugger - he places his paws on your shoulders and snuggles his head under your chin! And if you're lucky, he might throw in a kiss. He also loves to talk - making whining, gurgling sounds that make me laugh! And he absolutely loves Zoom meetings - jumping, whining and insisting on sitting in my lap so he can participate!

Dobby is extremely ill - not eating, vomiting and in obvious pain. His test results shows extremely high white blood count and platelets. The x-rays showed a potential mass and they want to follow-up with an ultrasound and more medications. They recommend admitting him right away.

I lost my job and have been trying everything to find a new one. I've just barely been getting by and spent everything I had on the initial vet bill for Dobby. As you can imagine it's been a difficult time - but my one light, my one joy, has been my dogs.
