Dodger is a 14-year-old Yorkshire Terrier in Burbank , CA, who needs $2,000 for Gallbladder Removal Surgery.

I named him Dodger, he came into my life through my mom. When I moved out I needed Bella my other dog to have a friend, so Dodger came along and I’ve had him for 14 amazing years. It’s just the 3 of us and I thank God everyday for the two best pups in whole world. Dodgers the man of the house and is very protective of Bella & myself. He is the sweetest boy that has so much love to give.

As I shared it’s just me & my two dogs. He loves people and when anyone’s over he wants to play & show his favorite toy, he wants to greet all the people we come across on our walks. If I’m on the phone he makes his presence known through his cute lil whine & everyone knows that’s Dodger wanting his mom to get off the phone & give him all of my attention. He cracks me up & smile daily.

Dodger is the love of my life. Makes me smile daily with his one ear up one ear down. He gives me comfort when I need it most, when I’m sad he licks my tears & cheers me up. He loves everyone & thinks everyone should shower him with the same love & affection. He brings my heart so much joy, makes my days brighter. No words could do justice what he means & does for my mental health daily.

They have found a mucocele in his gallbladder and Dodger needs his gallbladder removed. If not the vet fears will rupture and cause deadly harm. We discovered this in end Jan/beg Feb of this year. Tried treating it with medication but his last ultrasound showed fluid and possibly a small rupture. We need to act now.

I’m currently unemployed, due to the writers strike, as I do costumes in the industry. It’s a very expensive surgery & it would mean the world to see him healthy & pain free. I know we have many happy years left together and this will help make that happen.
