Dodger is a 6-year-old Terrier in Modesto, CA, who needs $2,000 for Amputation.

Dodger came into this world because we had one dog and another dog showed up outside our house and would not leave, so we took her in and they had a litter of pups and Dodger was one of them! We found home for the pups but the owners that took dodger gave him back and said he was too much for them so of course we kept him! We are LA Dodgers fans and that’s where his name came from!

Dodger is such a sweet baby, he is such a mommas boy and love to follow his mom around and lick her face! He plays with his parents and enjoys life! Dodger loves to play with my niece and they play tug of war and chase each other around! Dodge is the sweetest boy and he even does fun tricks for us!

Dodger is so funny when you kiss his face he howls, and it makes the cutest little howl. He is so curly and fluffy and such a good snuggler. He loves the smile and show his teeth, and loves getting belly scratches. He is so full of energy and he loves to sleep too! He naps with his dog mom and snores very loud!

Dodger was driving with my mother and jumped out of the car window while we were driving, he broke his leg and scuffed up his face. We took him to Stanford Veterinary Clinic in Modesto, CA and they told us they were not sure the leg could be saved. My mother and I took out a personal loan to pay for them to fix his leg and it did not work and now he needs to get it amputated and we cannot afford.

My mother has no income, she is trying to get SSI and was denied. I have older brother and we pay her bills and take care of her financially. This dog is my moms baby and I am trying to do everything I can to help my mother save her baby.
