Doggie is a 7-year-old Pit Bull mix in Victorville, CA, who needs $2,000 for a large mass removal.

We named him doggie. I acquired him by begging my neighbors to give him to me after years of them neglecting him. He was never brought inside out of the heat, cold, rain or snow. I got him an igloo house, jacket & toys and feed him & gave him water by hoisting buckets over the fence for years! I noticed he was sick and they said they didn’t have time to take care of him so I took him in.

He is such a love bug but I have 2 alpha male dogs already & they don’t get along with him. I made him a comfortable, warm spot in the garage and fenced off part of the backyard so he can be outside for a while and inside as well. He loves to be petted and will melt into you! He is super gentle. I can’t imagine why his former owners just left him out & never paid attention to him. He is loved now

At the vets office he didn’t mind the other dogs or cats and just wanted to visit anybody that would pet him or talk to him. He’s had such a hard life and I just want him to feel love and security. He is playful once he knows you are not going to leave him. He deserves to live a life where he’s finally going to be loved and taken care of.

What prompted me to beg for him was I noticed he had these bleeding ulcer type lesions on his behind, a mass on his leg & a serious rash on his belly & private area. I took him to the Ark Animal Hospital in Victorville CA &they said he has cancer that spread & requires surgery to remove the tumors.

My husband is a cancer patient. He was in remission until last year when we learned it spread to his lung. I lost my job during Covid last year. Luckily I started working again in April but he is not working. With 2 dogs of our own and his health, I can not afford his surger
