About this campaign
About a year and half ago we I adopted this beautiful puppy. He came from Oklahoma. I drove out to pick him up. The foster parents named him Paul Revere. Funny because he was coming to Massachusetts . He had a smile when we got him and still does. We changed his name to Doheny after a special friend who is no longer with us. He is a Great Pyrenees .
About a month ago we noticed him limping on his back paw. We took him to Vet said give him a couple of weeks and see how it goes. They didn't do X-rays. He didn't get any better so we went back and had X-ray done. Turns out he torn his acl. He also was limping on other hind leg. He now has two torn ccl. Angell Animal Medical Center is where he would go. It cost 7000 dollars a leg.
Since Doheny came into my life I have been happy. He always is smiling. When you take him for a walk he holds his head hi and has a great big smile. He loves to just sit outside and watch people go by and play with other dogs. He has a lot of friends. He may be big but he is a teddy bear. He has a paw thing he does. He hits you with his paw to be friendly not realizing how big he is.
I am retired and on fixed income. I am afraid I can't afford to have this surgery done due to lack of. All I want to see Doheny running around and to stay happy and not in pain.
