Dolce is a 11 month old Mix-Breed in Springfield, OH, who needs $20,000 for Total Hip Replacement.

Mom, dad and 11 puppies were placed in a small cage and dropped off on the side of the road in 90 degree weather. A friend of mine fosters, she rescued all of them. My 15 year old dog had just passed away 3 months earlier and my kids were a mess so I took my daughter to see them. She couldn’t choose one so we took 2 sisters.

About a week ago Dolce started falling, we took her to the vet, Mad River Veterinary hospital in Springfield Ohio. They set up x-rays. The scans today showed severe hip dysplasia that requires bilateral hip replacement. She started on anti inflammatory medication, gabapentin and glucosamine.

Dolce is very calm and cuddly, her sister is the hyper one and she’s always following her around wanting to lay and cuddle. She’s so affectionate with everyone in our family, in her head she’s a 5 pound lap dog and wants to sit on our lap and be held. Recently she’s been falling and her back legs giving out so we have been carrying her and picking her up to get on furniture or the bed

I’m a single mom living check to check. I budget their routine vet bills, However hip replacements are expensive, about 10k per hip. She’s not even a year old and her quality of life is disrupted. She deserves to be pain free, playing, running and jumping like all puppies do
