About this campaign

Dollar is an Emotional Support Dog in Florida, who needs financial assistance to have a non cancerous brain mass removed better known as Meningioma. On Christmas Eve 2007, I went to Walmart to buy double AA batteries. As I was walking in the parking lot, two men in a truck had a puppy they were trying to sell. As I was admiring the puppy I heard the man next to me say to his friend, "let's buy him and teach him to fight." I immediately jumped in front of them and purchased the puppy. I came home with the puppy and no batteries and was extremely happy I saved this animal from a future horrible life he may have had. She is a spayed pitbull who immediately became our family pet. In 2012, my first born son had died in a motor vehicle accident. The traumatic pain that comes with being a grieving mother has no words to describe. Somehow, Someway our family pet immediately turned into an emotional support loyal animal. Every time I get increased anxiety or increased depression she has a way of distracting my emotions. No one ever taught her to do this as her behavior is genuine loyalty.
