Dollie is a 3 year old Chihuahua in Fouke, AR, who needs $1,979 for Emergency C-Section.

I first saw Dollie on Facebook. She was just this itty bitty puppy that they had set in a tea-cup and it was love at first sight. We have a Blue Heeler, a Frenchie and 2 cats but Dollie is the boss. My kids and even my friend's young kids know that it is her way or the highway and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Dollie, like many chihuahuas, has developed problems with her hips. We never intended to breed her, but our vet didn't feel comfortable spaying her. So we worked hard to be good owners and keep her from getting pregnant. Unfortunately, due to circumstances out of our control, she did. We scheduled a c-section but she went into labor on her own and we had to rush her to Valor Veterinary ER.

Dollie takes time to warm up to people but once she does there is not any room for doubt about how much she loves the people she chooses. Every person has their own special moments with Dollie. Whether she is napping with the little kids or asking to be cradled like a baby, she knows how to make each one of us feel loved.

As a single mom, money is always tight. Paying for a planned c-section due to another person's actions would have been challenging, having to max out a credit card to save my dog's life feels detrimental. I just want to continue to provide a good life for my pets and kids.
