About this campaign

Dolly is currently living in a foster home while she heals from a respiratory illness. She was sick from the day she was purchased, and declined quickly in her new owners care.

The previous owner gave her medications but did not put in extra effort to make sure she was eating or thriving. After 1 week of medication, Dolly was still declining. The owner scheduled her to be euthanized citing "no attachment" to her and not wanting to spend any additional money.

Dolly is a perfectly adorable and playful little puppy, beautiful inside and out! She loves her toys and her people and is a sweet and innocent soul!

Dolly was brought to Charlotte Animal Hospital shortly after being purchased from a breeder. The owner did not have a name for her, and did not want to spend any money on her. After a brief exam, all diagnostics were declined, and she went home with some antibiotics.

We, as a newly formed rescue, could not stand to see a puppy euthanized due to lack of care or interest from the owner. The owner contacted the breeder and got no response, and refused to spend further money on the puppy. We paid the nearly $700 on her and she is improving!
