Dolly is a 1-year-old Chihuahua mix in Seminole, FL, who needs $1,800 for ACL tear.

We’ve had Dolly over a month now. We rescued her from a local shelter and from day one she has not only had to be treated for a parasite but also kennel cough and double ear infection. She was treated for 2 weeks and came out strong and very energetic and happy she loves at home with her two human sisters and mom and dad. She’s very sweet and loving and we are just heart broken that she’s in pain.

Dolly is very social and playful. She loves her humans and is very gentle and sweet. She is loved SO much and we can’t imagine life without her. Our girls are already attached and losing our first puppy because of a accident and not having the money to help fix her is a mothers worst nightmare. We refuse to give up on her.

Dollys favorite toy is her rubber bone and we think it’s because it’s the closest thing to a croc that she can play with safely. Other than that she likes to do zoomies in the back yard and play catch with anyone!Shes smart and gentle and loves to cuddle with whoever is around. We truely got lucky with such a great dog.

Dolly had a injury accident last Friday while we were away from the house for a hour. We are unsure of what she did but was told she has a torn acl and surgery is required due to her age and extent of the injury. We do not have the money up front to help fix our baby girl and so we really need help to give her a chance at a healthy life.

Due to Covid I am the only one working from home and we are on a strict budget. We were not expecting our puppy to have such a injury after a month of having her. We wanted dolly to complete our family and yes things happen but we were not prepared for this situation.
